Chemistry 3 - Work Requirement 1
ANALYSIS
Work requirement 1 is connected to the Consumer Chemistry Section and will be assessed as a portfolio of items that are completed during this area of study.
Much of the exam CAT 1 is based directly on this work requirement, consequently it is important that students have the fundamental experiences involved in and understandings derived from this task.
Some components of the Portfolio will be assessed on an ongoing basis - ie the prac work will be submitted for assessment no later than 3 days after the completion of the practical exercise.
If an item of the portfolio is not performed to a satisfactory standard, the item will be returned and the student will have the opportunity to redo and resubmit the item.
The work requirement will be assessed to an S or N standard.
